with children and small dogs, are up to date with vaccines, and start heartworm and flea prevention at 8 weeks old.

Interest
in our puppies is high, however, we usually do not accept deposits until puppies are on the ground. We do not feel
it is fair to the prospective owner to place a deposit on a puppy until we are sure we can fulfill their needs. We are, however,
forming a waiting list for prospective homes. Show and pet homes welcome!

at the time you inquire, we can add you to our mailing list to keep you updated on future breedings/puppies.
All sales are
on a first come first serve basis and are only secured once a deposit is received. Everyone looks for different qualities
in their new family member so placement on our waiting list does not mean indicate order, only interest.
When e-mailing
us please be as specific as you can about what you are looking for in your puppy and include information about your family
and lifestyle (are you active, etc). Our goal is to match you with the puppy that will meet your expectations and fit in well
with your family.
Our puppies are whelped and
raised indoors around our children, French Bulldogs, and other AmStaffs. We are Georgia's oldest AmStaff Kennel with puppies
all around the world!
We guarantee that our puppies
are healthy and free of contagious illnesses at the time of sale. Our puppies are dewormed regularly, up to date on shots,
and on a montly heartworm and flea control. We recommend contacting your veterinarian to discuss their puppy shot protocol
as the shots needed vary by location and frequency varies by vet and brand of shot they use.
We also offer other
guarantees on our puppies and dogs. Our dogs and puppies are guaranteed not to have a life-threatening or crippling
hereditary disease and are guaranteed to have stable temperaments that are good with people. We also guarantee puppies
sold as show dogs will finish their championship, something most breeders will not do. Should our puppies/dogs not live up
to their guarantees we will replace them at no cost to you.
We highly recommend that if
your breeder lives within a reasonable distance that you visit them and meet their dogs. AmStaff breeders value different
temperaments for different reasons and it's important your companion is everything you are looking for.
Ataxia Information ~ Cerebellar ataxia is a degenerative disease
of the brain that affects American Staffordshire Terriers and American Pit Bull Terriers. Within the last several
years a test has been developed to determine if they are carriers of the disease, affected by it, or clear of the associated
gene. The only way to produce an affected dog is to breed two carriers together, a carrier to an affected, or an affected
to an affected. Children of clear dogs can NEVER be affected by the disease and, at worst, are simply carriers. Therefore,
many breeders are making the decision to breed clears to carriers if it means maintaining correct temperament, type, and health.
Even though the test is new, we understand that some
show/breeding homes are interested in knowing the status of the pup they are interested in. Because of this we are willing
to test a puppy prior to full commitment from the new owner. We will ask that the normal non-refundable deposit be placed
on the pup, which we will then use to test the pup. If the results are not favorable we will refund the deposit in full, but
if the results are favorable the deposit will be retained and full payment will be expected. We are not offering this to pet
homes as all of our litters will have at least one clear parent, eliminating the chance of the pups being affected.

Ownership Information
Cicero
puppies usually have their dewclaws removed and are always up to date on wormings and vaccinations at the time of sale. We
provide new owners with a puppy packet which includes a health record, written Agreement/Guarantee, information about your
new pup and coupons. We are available 24 hours a day to answer any questions or concerns you may have and will take back any
animal that can no longer be cared for, regardless of the reason.
All of our dogs live
inside our house with our family, which includes our children, as they are first and foremost members themselves. Litters
are whelped and raised in our home to ensure excellent health and socialization. We welcome anyone who is interested to come
give us a visit, even if you are unsure about welcoming one of our pups into your family. We have many families visit who
are simply interested in learning more about this wonderful breed.
We guarantee, in writing, our
dogs to be free of life-threatening or hereditary defects and will have a proper temperament. We extensively socialize all
puppies and adults with people and dogs of all ages. Show puppies are guaranteed to finish their championship which
we will assist with if you live near a show we are attending. We also give handling, boarding and grooming discounts to anyone
owning a Cicero dog.
We ship within and
out of the US and already have dogs in several different countries in pet and show homes. Shipping costs depend on where the
dog is being shipped and how large the animal is. All shipping costs are the full responsibility of the buyer. The cost depends
on the size of the dog, where it is being shipped and may fluctuate with gas prices.
All sales require
a non-refundable deposit of $400.00, no exceptions. Deposits are transferrable to any sale or service provided by us. We accept
cash (including Western Union) and money orders; contact us regarding our check policy. We do not give cash refunds for any
reason unless the puppy/dog is found to be ill by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hrs of purchase.
We realize that the
cost of purchasing and caring for a purebred dog is not inexpensive; because of this we are willing to work out payment
arrangements with most families.
All of our dogs are also sold with written Agreements to protect you, the dog and ourselves. Agreements are tailored to suit
each families needs and situation, but a standard agreement is available via e-mail to anyone interested.
